As the fourth largest city in the Bay Area, Fremont has planned and positioned itself to attract investment that fuels economic growth in our community. Combine that with the winds of a robust national economy in our sails, and you can see the results for yourself. Specifically, a drive through the city reveals a diverse array of new commercial, residential, and industrial opportunities. New development projects are transforming areas like Downtown and Warm Springs into focal points for our community to gather. The planned uses for these areas are stimulating the local economy, creating opportunities for new amenities, and helping Fremont become a more sustainable and strategically urban modern city.

We want to share our city’s unfolding story with those who are not familiar with it. The best way to do that is to invite people to come see the projects firsthand and learn about the public/private partnerships that made them possible.

The City of Fremont is proud to present in partnership with The Registry, Tour Fremont, our first ever development project bus tour. On this tour, attendees will see and hear firsthand from project representatives about a variety of Fremont projects. The four destinations include Downtown Fremont, Pacific Commons South, Artist Walk, and the Warm Springs Innovation District.

At the Downtown stop, participants will take a hard hat tour of Locale @ State Street by SummerHill Homes, in partnership with Sares-Regis and TMG Partners. This mixed-use project boasts a variety of residential unit types and 21,000 square feet of commercial space. At Pacific Commons South, a new advanced manufacturing campus with state-of-the-art buildings available for lease, attendees will hear from Overton Moore Properties and other project representatives. At Artist Walk, they will get an up-close look at this newly completed mixed-use development where most units are already leased and retail spaces occupied. At the Warm Springs Innovation District, participants will visit the new Warm Springs/South Fremont BART Station to catch a bird’s-eye view of the entire area and hear from several of the area’s developers, including Lennar and Valley Oak Partners.

If this sounds like your kind of bus tour, we invite you to attend Tour Fremont on Thursday, November 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Early bird tickets for $65 are available until October 19. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit news.theregistrysf.com/event/fremont-bus-tour.
